Associate professor at the Danish Rhythmical Conservatory in Copenhagen 1996 -
Winner of the amateur competition in the national Danish Radio: "Orkesterdyst fra kyst til kyst" 1959, 1960 & 1961 with his own group "Copenhagen Jazz Quintet"
First recording as a guitarist w. John Tchicai's "Cadentia Nova Danica" in 1969
Recordings with own groups for Steeple Chase Records 1977 - 1987 (with a.o. John Tchicai, Niels Henning Orsted Petersen, Marilyn Mazur, Billy Hart and Johnny Dyani)
In 1978 he formed the group "Thermænius" with Morten Carlsen (sax), Irene Becker (keyb) and H. C. Mogensen (perc)
In 1980 he formed the "New Jungle Orchestra", with which he has toured most of the world.
Played with Svend Asmussen 1982 - 1983
1980 a student of "world music" at the Creative Music Studio, Woodstock, New York.
Study tours to Gambia (´82 + ´92), Nepal (´86) and Bali (´88).
Is the composer of more than 570 tunes in the fields of jazz, rock, folk, chorus and chamber music.
Theatre music for Peer Gynt, Hamlet, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Jeppe på Bjerget.
